No Smoking Allowed! The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has upheld a bylaw in Brookline that bans tobacco sales to anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 2000. Brookline’s ban is not only an effort to curb youth tobacco, but it also effectively bans future generations from ever being able to purchase tobacco. Tonight, we want to hear your thoughts!
Safety on Public Transportation. Following a spike in transit crime that occurred in the New York Subway system, New York Governor Kathy Hochul plans to send National Guard members to patrol the subway’s train stations. Here in Boston, the MBTA continues to deal with many problems including crime. How safe do you feel riding the T? Does the MBTA need to bolster up their public safety efforts?
Follow Up to Biden’s SOTU. Last evening President Biden delivered what some are calling an “energetic” and “forceful” State of the Union Address to Congress.
