Rockland Rape. A Haitian migrant who was living at an emergency shelter in Rockland has been charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl. Gov. Healey said, the man was vetted by a state background check as well as an additional check “that we do for all entries to our shelter.” Do we need to reassess how we effectively manage the migrant crisis in Massachusetts?
Fani Willis’ Predicament. A judge ruled that Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis, the prosecutor in the Donald Trump election racketeering case in Georgia, must either step aside or remove the special prosecutor with whom she had a romantic relationship before the case can proceed. The ruling comes in response to the questioning of whether Willis can use her “professional judgment totally free of any compromising influences.” Tonight, your thoughts.
