Remembering U.S. Rep. William Delahunt. Massachusetts lawmaker William Delahunt passed away over the weekend at the age of 82. The late Bill Delahunt served as Norfolk County District Attorney for over two decades and went on to become a U.S. Representative in Congress, serving 14 years. Delahunt was a voice for bipartisanship and passed impactful bills, such as one that made all children adopted overseas automatically American citizens. Journalist Seth Rolbein, who was working with Delahunt on a memoir, joins Dan to discuss.
The FBI’s Refusal. The Federal Bureau of Investigation will no longer be making any more documents related to Boston mobster James “Whitey” Bulger’s public. Why? The claim is that the files are “investigative” and no longer subject to Freedom of Information rules. Is the FBI shielding ex-informant Bulger? Why the secrecy?
