Canceling Student Loan Debt. The Biden Administration released its new proposal for student loan forgiveness. The Administration’s first attempt at widespread student debt forgiveness was shot down by the U.S. Supreme Court last summer. The revised plan includes relief for those with unpaid interest, along with those in repayment for 20 years. In your opinion, is cancelling student loan debt fair?
Drugs vs. The American People. Drug addiction is a nationwide problem felt in every corner and crevice of the country. Every community has been touched by it in some way. According to the CDC, 107,941 people died in 2022 because of a drug overdose. In comparison, the Vietnam war killed 58,000 Americans, the Korean war 33,000 Americans, and the war in Iraq killed a little more than 4,000 Americans.
