Drug addiction is a nationwide problem felt in every corner and crevice of the country. Every community has been touched by it in some way. According to the CDC, 107,941 people died in 2022 because of a drug overdose. In comparison, the Vietnam war killed 58,000 Americans, the Korean war 33,000 Americans, and the war in Iraq killed a little more than 4,000 Americans.
