Bob Antonellis Is Running for MA Senate. Robert Antonellis is a Republican and an investigative researcher and engineer who is one of three Republicans running with hopes to win the GOP nomination and go on to challenge incumbent Sen. Elizabeth Warren this Fall. Antonellis joins us this evening on NightSide to discuss his campaign and the issues he’s running on.
Cleaning Up Boston’s Mass and Cass. The area of Mass and Cass in Boston where Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard meet is an area ripe with homeless and drug addicts alike that Boston officials have been tackling for years. Mayor Michelle Wu implemented a three-pronged plan to address crime and homelessness in the area last fall, which has only helped to a degree. Last summer, more than 200 people a day were flocking to the area now, there are about 70-80 people. Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn joins us to discuss.
Biden Calls for Supreme Court Changes. During the final months of President Joe Biden’s term, the president is calling for sweeping reform to the U.S. Supreme Court. Biden’s proposals include term limits for Supreme Court justices, enforcing a code of ethics, and the introduction of a constitutional amendment to ensure that presidents are not immune from criminal prosecution.
