Karen Read’s appeal of a judge’s decision to deny a motion to dismiss two of the three criminal charges against her for the death of her boyfriend John O’Keefe, will be heard this November. Read’s attorneys argue they received communication from jurors indicating they agreed to acquit Read of the murder charge and the leaving the scene charge, which constitutes double jeopardy.
