For one of our segments we speak to the National Weather Service about another category 5 hurricane, Hurricane Milton, which is looming off the coast of Florida!
MBTA Communities Act. Today the town of Milton squared off against the state of Massachusetts before the MA Supreme Judicial Court over Milton’s refusal to comply with the MBTA Communities Act. The Act mandates multifamily housing that is transit adjacent, in 177 affected MA communities. Milton was the first town to object to this mandate. Tonight, we hear from Milton residents about this “battle”!
One Year Ago… Today is the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7th attack on Israel at the hands of Hamas. Roughly 1,200 men, women and children were slaughtered by the terrorist group Hamas in what is being called the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. The Oct. 7th attack not only unleashed a year of war in the Middle East but sparked political unrest in the U.S. and areas around the world. Tonight, we remember the horrible attack, and its consequences still felt today.
