2024 Election Results. Donald Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election after securing 270 electoral votes, the majority needed to win the presidency. Trump did not just win the electoral college, but he also won the popular vote with roughly 51%. In addition, the Republicans gained control of the Senate, and the U.S. House is still up for grabs. So far, the Republicans have gained 3 House seats. How did the political experts miss this Republican sweep? The day after the election, there is lots to dissect.
