President Biden Pardons Son. Over the weekend, President Biden broke his public promise that he would not pardon his son Hunter Biden of the federal crimes he committed. Last summer a federal jury convicted Hunter on three federal felony gun charges. President Biden originally told the public, he would abide by the jury’s decision and that, “I will not pardon him". Why did Biden break his promise? What other options did he have and what would you do if you were in the same situation?
