Layoffs Expected at Mass General Brigham. Mass General Brigham, the largest health care system in Massachusetts, announced its plan to lay off hundreds of workers, citing a roughly $250 million budget gap. MGB said the layoffs will focus on “non-clinical and non-patient facing roles.” What are some of the challenges MGB is facing that might have led to the layoffs?
