The JFK Presidential Library in Boston temporarily closed Tuesday after some staff layoffs that came as part of the Trump Administration’s efforts to downsize the federal workforce. The worker cuts started with probationary employees who had not yet gained civil service protection. Some federal agencies were warned that large workplace cuts would be coming.
