Public Safety in Boston. Over the weekend, a fatal shooting occurred at a Chick-Fil-A in Boston’s Back Bay. An off-duty police officer shot and killed a man who was chasing two people with a knife. The Chick-Fil-A staff and patrons were seen running out of the restaurant visibly scared. The incident has raised concerns and questions about public safety in Boston with some local politicians calling for increased police presence throughout the city. Zelenskyy Says Deal Still on the Table. In the wake of a heated Oval Office exchange between President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy last week, Zelenskyy says a rare minerals deal with the U.S. is still on the table. Despite what appeared to be a breakdown in relations between the U.S. and Ukraine, the Ukrainian president said, “we’re ready to sign it,” that is if the U.S. is still interested in a deal.
