AMHERST, New Hampshire. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Amherst Fire Rescue discovered a truck in a very unusual position when responding to an accident early Saturday morning.
New Hampshire rescue crews got reports of a single-vehicle accident involving a tree on Old Manchester Road in Amherst, New Hampshire at around 5:45 a.m. on Saturday. When first responders arrived they found a pickup truck standing upright leaning against the tree.
The person driving the truck was able to free themself and refused treatment at the scene, officials said.

"After a brief physics analysis, Kent's towing needed a boom truck to remove the vehicle," Amherst Fire Rescue wrote on Facebook.
After the accident, Old Manchester Road was closed for several hours.
