BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak was showered with hats and something unusual after yet another momentous hat trick on Tuesday night.

Pastrnak scored his 17th hat trick against the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden, carrying on the tradition of fans throwing hats onto the ice after he made his third goal of the night.

One of the hats was not like the others though.

A fan holding a Dunkin' Spiked Iced Tea threw a fake bear pelt hooded cape onto the ice.

"Making plays, getting open for one another — that doesn't look like a hat," one NESN commentator said.

He spent a few minutes posing for photos in the bear suit in the locker room post game.

"The bear suit went straight to the trainers so I'm going to have to check it out and sign it and hang it up nice in the training room," Pastrnak said after the game.

Pastrnak gave the fan who threw down the bear suit a hockey stick as a 'thank you' after the game.
