BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) — A motorcycle passenger is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash in Boston on Sunday.
State Troopers got reports of a motorcycle crash that left the passenger with life-threatening injuries just before 2 a.m. on the Arborway at South Street.
The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on the Arborway at the intersection of South Street when a Honda Accord did an illegal turn onto South Street causing the motorcycle and vehicle to collide, a preliminary investigation suggests.
The 24-year-old driver and a 22-year-old passenger were both ejected from the motorcycle in the crash. Massachusetts State Police said they believe neither of them was wearing a helmet.

Police said the Honda driver did not stop after the crash. State Troopers are working to locate the driver and the car.
The motorcycle passenger was transported to Beth Isreal Hospital where he remains in critical condition. The driver was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
State Police are investigating. No other information is known at this time.
