Officials Identify Window Washer Who Fell To Death From Boston Building

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Officials have now released the identity of a man who fell from a high-rise building while washing windows in downtown Boston on Monday.

The man has been identified as 40-year-old Nicholas Marks of East Weymouth.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to Mr. Marks’s family and friends at this tragic time. The investigation being conducted by OSHA will determine what role, if any, our office will have moving forward in this matter,” Suffolk DA Kevin Hayden said.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. at a skyscraper in the financial district at 100 Summer Street.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is heading the investigation since it is a workplace-related fatality, DA Hayden said.
