RANDOLPH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The U.S Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who may have information about a man that is suspected of robbing a USPS worker in Randolph earlier this week.

The award was doubled from $25,000 on Friday.

Just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, a USPS letter carrier was working on Canton Street when they were approached from behind and robbed before fleeing the area on foot.

Authorities say the suspect allegedly robbed the mail carrier of their Arrow Key, a key that can open USPS mailboxes around the city. The USPS worker was not harmed in the incident.
