BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Red Sox pitcher Craig Kimbrel told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Adam Kaufman last night that the fact that he was a World Series champion was still sinking in.
"We knew we had a lot to prove, to have the most wins in the league going into the playoffs, you got a monkey on your back there," Kimbrell said. "We were able to come in here, go to New York, go to Houston and come here and take care of business."
Kimbrel said he never doubted that the team would win every series, though.
"We don't pay much attention to the odds," he said. "We know who we have in our clubhouse, and we expected to win every series."
