BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston kicked off Pride Week with a ceremonial flag-raising outside of City Hall Plaza.
The flag was raised at 12:00 p.m. on Friday and will remain up throughout Pride Week.
Acting Mayor Kim Janey posted a video on Twitter honoring Pride Month.
Salem held their annual flag-raising ceremony Thursday afternoon in Riley Plaza.
Several communities across the Commonwealth are holding Pride Month events.
