BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – It’s no surprise that Boston sports fans have a strong reputation across the nation, but a recent poll from Vegas Insider suggests Celtics fans could be the worst of the worst.
The site recently surveyed NBA fans across the country to find out which fan bases, coaches and players have the worse behavior. Celtics fans came in at number three for a very common reason.

“Foul language also landed Boston Celtics fans at No. 3 because of their tendencies to swear at other fans,” the site wrote.
Just ahead at number two on the list were New York Knicks fans, and the number one spot was given to the Los Angeles Lakers who are said to yell at other fans more than any other fan base. The full list can be found online.
