NAHANT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Tuesday, a 22-year-old woman drowned in a pool in Nahant, police said in a statement.
According to Nahant Police Chief Timothy Furlong and Fire Chief Austin Antrim, first responders arrived to the Cary Street Club at p.m. on Tuesday after an emergency call reported an unresponsive woman.
Officials administered medical treatment as she was transported to a local hospital. It was there, police said, that the victim was pronounced dead.

The NPD says the incident is under investigation and that they will provide more information as it becomes available.
