MEDFORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Be cool, give blood.
That’s the message from Snoopy… and the American Red Cross.
The organization has been offering incentives for people to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life including gift cards and various giveaways.
The latest incentive for those who donate blood by April 23rd is they get a Snoopy T-shirt.
They’re also eligible for a chance to win a three-night trip for two to Sonoma County, including flights, hotel, a one-thousand dollar gift card, and a tour of the Charles M. Schulz Museum.

Kelly Isenor is with the Red Cross. She said the Snoopy T-shirts have been a huge hit.
In fact, the T-shirts have gone viral and proven to be a big reason why blood drives are at full capacity.
But, she also said there are more important reasons behind donating blood.
“There’s no substitute for human blood," she said. “It can’t be made in a lab. It can only be given by volunteer donors.”
