BRAINTREE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Braintree Police Department is investigating a Tuesday night armed home invasion that allegedly involved three men attacking and injuring a resident of the home on Bickford Road.
Officials say the crime may be connected to online gaming and "other online activity."
Police say they arrived to the scene of the crime this week to find two residents outside the home, with one suffering from minor facial injuries. The victim told police he had answered the front door and when he did, he was assaulted by three men, one of which had a pistol tucked inside his waistband.

According to police, the suspects referred to the victim by name and appears to be a targeted incident of violence and not at random.
Authorities shared surveillance photos and videos of the suspects online, describing them to be three tall black males either in their late teens or early twenties. Before leaving the suspects spent some time in the household, and were seen speeding away in a small black sedan, possibly a BMW.
Police ask that anyone who recognizes the suspects to call Braintree Police.
