BROCKTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Friday afternoon just after dismissal for the day, Brockton Police responded to an area near the high school's softball field to find two minors suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.
Brockton first responders transported the pair of victims to a nearby hospital.
Police say the incident was not a random act of violence, assuring the public that the school was not under threat.

About an hour later, at around 2:54 p.m., police were called to Good Samaritan Medical Center for a reported assault and battery. Once there, officers arrested three suspects in what they believe was an incident connected to the earlier one near Brockton High. Police say one of the suspects under arrest was responsible for the stabbing.
Both incidents are under investigation.
