CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — For many people, Valentine's Day is a great time to relax and enjoy the company of loved ones.
Many Massachusetts residents did their last-minute Valentine's Day shopping on Sunday. There was even a line stretching out the door of Central Square Florist in Cambridge.

Jackie Levine is the manager of the 4th generation family business in Cambridge that has been going strong for 95 years, even throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
"Florists around the country are thriving," she said. "People are really sending flowers to loved ones... who they may not be able to be with."
On top of the pandemic, it's Valentine's Day. So Levine has been putting in 16 hour days all weekend at Central Square Florist, even with all the extra seasonal helpers.
"It's the Super Bowl for florists," Levine said.
