BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Talk about a technical— Wednesday night's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat was interrupted for some fans watching from home.
Instead of watching the tail-end of the Celtics loss against the Heat, some YouTube TV customers reported being stuck on a looping advertisement for Disney's The Little Mermaid. While many cut the cable to switch to streaming so to speak, some tell WBZ's Jim MacKay that the technology is still shaky.
"More and more people are looking for à la carte solution for TV. They want to pay for what they want to watch and watch what they want to pay for," one resident in Medford said.

YouTube TV apologized for the ordeal, saying the outages weren't confined to just TNT and that multiple channels were out.
When it comes to choosing streaming in the first place, many said the decision came down to money.
"I dropped my cable— it became really expensive," one said. Another resident said she still has cable, paying in the ballpark of $260 a month for it.
