BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Figures released by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission show just how much gross gaming revenue the new Encore Boston Harbor resort and casino made in its first week of operation.
The casino generated $7,671,773,61 from table games and $9,118,170.27 from slots, or $16,789,943.88 in total.
Encore is subject to a tax of 25%. Those taxes totaled $4,197,485.97 in June.
According to the same revenue report, gross gaming revenues from the Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield, and Encore Boston Harbor totaled about $50 million last month.
The $50 million from all three casinos generated $15,821,940.62 in taxes.
