BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — There's something sizzling in and around Charlestown— The Bacon Truck is bringing all sorts of savory and sweet treats to Bostonians on the go.
The food truck serves up delicious BLTs, grilled cheese, chicken melts, and hamburgers, grinding bacon right into the ground beef and flattening the patties by hand. The Bacon Truck is available event or party rentals. Owner Brian Pew tells WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe that he bought the business from the previous owners a year ago now, and is the proud owner of The Baja Taco Truck.
"They pay us to go to parties every week, the people we meet are phenomenal," Pew said.
On its menu is breakfast items like egg sandwiches, side dishes like the popular loaded hash, which is packed with bacon, scallions, potatoes, and for dessert the truck offers candied bacon.
