LOS ANGELES, CA (WBZ NewsRadio) — Former New England Patriot legend Willie McGinest was arrested for a felony in Los Angeles, California Monday morning.
According to records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, McGinest was arrested at 7 a.m. by detectives in West Hollywood. His bail has been set for $30,000.
Though police have not made it clear what crime(s) McGinest is charged of, a report from TMZ says McGinest turned himself in for an assault that allegedly occurred within the past two weeks.
McGinest appeared in LAX Superior Court and has his next court date on Wednesday.

The former National Football League star won three Super Bowls with the Patriots coming up as a first round pick out of the University of South California. In 2015, McGinest was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
