Foxboro Youth Football And Cheerleading To Adopt Native American Logo

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Foxboro Youth Football and Cheerleading have announced they will adopt the school district's traditional warrior logo.

In Oct., the school committee said it would gradually abandon the logo to "retire outdated stereotypes."

WBZ NewsRadio has reached out to the school committee for further comment.

One representative from Foxboro Youth Football and Cheerleading told WBZ NewsRadio's Kim Tunnicliffe most people in town do not agree with the school committee's decision.

"People are tired of this cancel culture that we have," he said.
