MANCHESTER N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — According to Manchester Police in New Hampshire, a 7-year-old girl has not been seen since late 2019 and was not reported missing until now.

Harmony Montgomery was reported missing in the last week of 2021, officials said. Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said, "We have spoken with family members of Harmony, and despite doing so, our concerns for the whereabouts of her remain the same."

The circumstances of her family life, who reported her missing, and why the report was not filed until more than two years later were not made clear to the public.

"People are going to ask, 'Why two years?'" Aldenberg said, "we cannot investigate things if they are not brought to our attention."

Since the report, police said they have been investigating non-stop and are asking the public for any information related to the girl's disappearance. Manchester police said that Harmony has blonde hair, blue eyes, and should be wearing glasses due to being blind in her right eye. She's estimated to be four feet tall and weigh 50 lbs., officials said.

"I'm asking- I'll even go as far as I'm begging the community," Aldeberg said, "I don't care if you saw this young girl a year ago and you think it's irrelevant, call us."

Manchester Police said to contact them with any information at (603)-668-8711 or the Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
