"Freshly Baked Company is a Social Equity Program Participant and Veteran-Owned Microbusiness with a Delivery Endorsement," the commission said.

According to the CCC website, the Social Equity Program is designed to enable participation in the cannabis industry "by people from communities that have previously been disproportionately harmed by marijuana prohibition and enforcement."

Freshly Baked is now the first licensee to receive such authorization in the Commonwealth.
