BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Calling all Blockheads! This week New Kids On The Block stopped by the iHeartRadio studios and one of them might have let a secret slip.

The group appeared on Kiss 108's Matty in the Morning Show on Wednesday to talk about their upcoming September performance at Fenway Park.

"It's all locals, so now we're gonna pull out all the stops," Donnie Wahlberg told Matty. "We're working on it... We're working on a bunch of stuff. We don't want to give away all the surprises."

He then suggested there could be one very special guest.

According to Donnie, he may not be the only Wahlberg taking the stage that night. He said his youngest brother Marky Mark might also be making an appearance.

"We're dusting off everybody in Boston for this weekend, and making it a really, really special event. And I'm talkin' about everyone - there's already calls out to Marky Mark, I'm not playing around."

NKOTB will be headlining Fenway Park on September 19 for their only scheduled show this year.

NKOTB said they're hoping to put on a great show for their hometown. "Boston deserves no less than the most epic weekend ever," Wahlberg said, "and we're gonna do our part to make sure it's that."
