N.H. Police Arrest Stepmother Of Harmony Montgomery

MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Friday afternoon, the Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department announced they have arrested the stepmother of Harmony Montgomery as part of an arrest warrant issued the day before.

Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg made the announcement that 32-year-old Kayla Montgomery was brought into custody at a residence in Manchester.

The arrest warrant for Montgomery came from the Superior Court after she did not show for Thursday's hearing; the Court is expected to set a hearing date for next week.

Harmony Montgomery was declared dead in August, when Formella's office named the investigation into her disappearance as homicide. Kayla Montgomery was out on bail prior to her arrest on unrelated charges to Harmony's death.
