Police Find Missing Peabody Man Dead In Beverly

BEVERLY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Essex District Attorney's Office said a Peabody man who was reported missing over two weeks ago was found dead in Beverly on Saturday.

Officials said on Sunday that Beverly Police received a report that a deceased male had been found in the woods near 40 Woodland Avenue. Emergency Medical Services and police arrived to find a man, later identified to be 47-year-old Daniel Donovan of Peabody, officials said. Police said that Donovan had been discharged from Beverly Hospital on January 26 and was reported missing by his family the next day after he did not return home and they could not get in contact with him.

The Essex State Police Detective Unit is investigating Donovan's death, and police said that they do not suspect foul play.
