REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Multiple people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Route 1 in Revere, Monday afternoon.
Massachusetts State Police said a truck and at least two other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Police said they received the call around 2:20 P.M. and photos from the scene indicate more than just two vehicles were involved.

Late Monday afternoon, two lanes of traffic were blocked off with the left lane of Route 1 South being blocked for medical personnel. Drivers are being asked to find an alternative route.
At this time it is not clear how many people were injured or what's believed to have caused the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
