SOMERVILLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – Police in Somerville are looking for a group of individuals allegedly involved in a smash-and-grab situation over the weekend.
Police were called to the area of Somerville Avenue and Bow Street at around 3:34 a.m. last Saturday for a report of a breaking and entering.

Officers spoke with the person who reported the incident on scene, where he said he called police after hearing an alarm go off at the business. He then watched six people leave the area in a white sedan.
Surveillance images obtained by police showed five individuals inside the building who were all wearing matching white puffy winter jackets. They were seen smashing display cases and stealing multiple pieces of jewelry from the business.

Detectives did collect blood that was on a piece of broken glass, but so far police have not released any further information about the investigation.
