"Friends" first debuted on NBC in 1994.

The Boston exhibit will open about eight months after Chandler Bing actor and Williamstown, Mass. native Matthew Perry died suddenly at 54.

A cafe modeled after the one in the show, Central Perk Coffee Co., opened on Newbury St. just weeks after Perry's death.
