BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Transit Police made an arrest Friday night of a man who allegedly exposed himself to a group of school children at the MBTA State Street station Tuesday afternoon.
Transit Police said that Wayne MacDonald of Boston was arrested at the JFK UMass Station in Dorchester after an "observant TPD officer" recognized him.
On Friday, Transit Police asked for the public's assistance for leads on MacDonald's whereabouts relating to an Open & Gross Lewdness investigation. According to police, MacDonald was court-ordered to wear a GPS bracelet, but was able to elude authorities by removing that bracelet off his person.
According to the state Sex Offender Registry Board, MacDonald was listed as a Level 3 sex offender with multiple convictions dating as far back as 1993. Most charges involved Open and Gross Lewdness and Lascivious Behavior cases.
