PLYMOUTH, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Vice President Kamala Harris arrived to New Hampshire on Friday, the first time visiting since 2019.
When arriving at Manchester airport Friday morning, she was greeted by Governor Chris Sununu and Senator Maggie Hassan.
“We are thrilled to welcome Vice President Harris to New Hampshire," the state's Democratic Party wrote in a statement. "Granite Staters are already seeing the positive impacts of the Biden-Harris administration."
The White House claimed she will stop in Plymouth and Concord primarily to discuss the Biden Administration's American Rescue Plan.
In Concord, the vice president will deliver remarks at 2:40 p.m. explaining how the plan will rebuild the country’s infrastructure.
According to her itinerary, at 4:45 p.m., Harris will depart New Hampshire to head back to Washington, DC.
Vice President Harris's trip followed First Lady Jill Biden's trip to New Hampshire as a part of her “Help Is Here” tour to promote President Biden’s COVID-19 relief plan.
