BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Quinn Waters, better known as "The Mighty Quinn," performed the ceremonial puck drop before the Boston Bruins beat the San Jose Sharks during Hockey Fights Cancer Night presented by Beth Israel Lahey Health Tuesday.

Quinn was diagnosed with brain cancer the day after his third birthday.

Earlier this year Quinn had surgery to remove most of the tumor. Since then he has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy, as well as blood and platelet transfusions.

Quinn has hung out with the Bruins before, as well as other celebrities and community members through his window.
